Tornado Warning - Radar indicated or observed tornado on the ground
PDS Tornado Warning - Large tornado observed on the ground
Tornado Emergency - A large tornado on the ground and heading towards/currently affecting a heavy population center

My brother dealt with a PDS tornado warning a couple of nights ago. Thankfully, the tornado lifted before it reached his town (the rotation on Doppler went right over the top).
