FIFA 14 is the first year I've really jumped into UT and I've been hooked by it. Especially their Web App which gives you rewards for coming back daily (gamefication). I haven't spent a cent thanks to the gifts (got 2500 coins yesterday and when coupled with the money I saved, managed to buy a Gold Pack, which in turn, contained a bonus Gold Pack).

I also like that the FIFA site has now a FUT Hub which is very helpful for newcomers. NHL has a smaller but similar area on theirs, so it's good that EA are trying to make it as easy as possible for people to learn and enjoy the mode.

Just from an Ultimate Team stand point I'm actually really surprised that EA hasn't gotten back into a MLB franchise. I mean an Ultimate Team mode in an MLB landscape would be huge. Baseball cards are the origin of "pack opening". Sad to see NCAA go but I hope it opens the door to an MLB franchise. With baseballs legendary history I could see them really tap into legendary Ultimate Team players. Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson...

I enjoy NHL's HUT. It's about the only version of HUT I enjoy.

Got into Fifa UT 4 years ago. It turned me into a "Football" fanatic.
