I know that I have become a little "picky" in picking my sports games lately, for example if the game is too long to play or if it is too "cartoonish" then I won't get it. That is why I really like the FIFA and Hockey games. As far as games of yesteryear, my most favorite game was Baseball stimulator 1.000 for Super Nintendo, I don't know how many hours I spent each day playing it and the season was only 30 games.

I use to love Mutant League Hockey, and Football, imagine if they did a PS3/360 version of that then no one could complain

Wow great read you took me back I've been with Madden since '89 and before that I was playing Tecmo Bowl, 10 Yard Fight, and Double Dribble. Then on to Joe Montana Football, Celtics vs. Lakers, Blades Of Steel so to answer your question we want the best cause like technology we advance so you need more features but I agree the games back in the day were fun minus the realism could you image playing madden now a days and picking a certain play and having your whole team blitz not real but it was fun throwing the ball 80-100 yards lol. Again thanks for the nostalgia.

Monopolies have also hurt us sports gamers cause with EA buying the rights for College Football and Madden has made them lazy if 2k was Making NFL 2K series we wouldn't have to ask for so much. I still miss NCAA Gamebreaker it wasn't Bill Walsh College but they made EA put effort into their games.

We don't have anymore choices we have to buy the 1-2 ganes we get. I understand the reasons for this but, if I'm unhappy w/ Madden then oh well thats my only option
