Best Way To Play?

Hey guys,

Looking to finally hop on board with OOTP, and wondering a few things. I've never played so I'm wondering what is the best way to play? Do you try and get through a season fast or do you like to go game by game and manage the everyday workings of your team? Do you try and play every game or do you sim most of them? I know this will have multiple answers, but I want to get a feel for what could be most enjoyable way to play this game?

There's a couple ways to play. I prefer playing as the GM. So I do player movements, oversee my financials, hire / fire staff and managers, etc. you can do both GM and Manage the games. But it takes longer.

It's whatever you what to do.

Most that play don't actually play the game like you do in Stratomatic. Most play as the GM and setup the teams and organization and handles all of the details behind the scenes and then SIMULATE the games. Some do watch the live replays though.
Its the greatest baseball SIM that I've ever played & tremendous value for your money!
