Man I can't wait. I love spiderman character im general and big insomanic fan and I am hearing this is a good amount better than a already great first game was. 91 on metacritic this is going to be something special.

Anyone know if the story is continuation of Spiderman 1 and Miles Morales?

Torn on if I want to get this, I havent played 1 or MM.

I'm pretty sure it is.

I didn't play MM (really should've been DLC) but loved SP1 and got 100% on it.

First new game I’ve been really excited about in awhile. Not even a diehard Spider-Man guy but they are just so well done

YES. Spider Man 2 takes place about a year after Miles Morales which takes place shortly after Spider Man 2018.

I see there's a GOTY edition but the DLC code is expired... Missing much by not playing the DLC?

No you won’t be missing much without the dlc. It was fun but its side stuff to the main story
