Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 received a 30 minute presentation the other day which was Episode One as they will have a few more episodes leading up to release. There was 8 minutes of gameplay and a release date which is December 7th, 2021. Available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC.

I also loved Dying Light. I am really looking forward to this. The only reason I might not preorder it is because of the possibility (likelihood?) of technical issues at launch which is all to common these days. I know this game has been delayed (hopefully to avoid these types of issues).

Either way, this is probably my most wanted game right now.

I see this got pushed back to Feb 4, 2022... Hopefully won't be pushed back again.

It was delayed a few months ago as the original release date was December 7th which was the day before Halo Infinite so Techland decided to delay the game two months. It went gold last week so im not expecting any more delays or issues. Would love to see Techland move up the release date two weeks so it can have some breathing room considering that February is packed.

No you don't. It takes place 20 years (if I remember correctly) after the first game and has a brand new protagonist. There's no actual guns in the game as it's focused completely in melee combat which honestly, looks the best I have seen in any first person game and even better than Dishonored 2 which I put at the top of the list for first person melee combat. However, while there's no actual already made guns, you can find resources and materials to eventually craft a shotgun which as far as I know, is the only gun you can create/craft.
