I so hope this is true... World War 2.

Battlefield V

If this is true, I’m disappointed. I was hoping for a modern Battlefield this year. I’m pretty burnt-out on historical settings.

Re: Battlefield V

Yeah, I think a revert back to modern warfare then BACK to WW2 the next iteration would be the best bet.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Re: Battlefield V

I was hoping for WW2. BF 1942 is still my favorite of the series. I would have called it BF 1944 though.

I'm with you guys. I'll be sticking to BF4 I guess. I was really hoping they'd get back into modern.

I'm sure BFV will be a beautiful game though.

Re: Battlefield V

If I end up getting this game, it won't be until it's on sale a year later with all the DLC included. WWII just doesn't get the juices flowing for me like a modern/futuristic shooter would have.

Re: Battlefield V

I would love it if they did something similar to Bad Company 2 and the Vietnam Expansion. BC2 is still my favorite online experience of the Battlefield series.

Re: Battlefield V

It's a Battlefield game so I'll be buying. BF1 ended up having full auto weapons, I'm sure they'll add so many cutting edge weapons in BFV that it shouldn't be a problem.

Can't wait.
