Yes they are. Quantic Dream has just recently put out both games (Heavy Rain & Beyond 2 Souls) remastered on the PS4 which you can pick up now in the PS Store.

Although we can look back and reflect on some of the issues back then, Heavy Rain did set the bar at the time where decisions we did during game play had an effect in our end story. The game is now 7 years old. I'm sure there were many lessons learned. However, Supermassive Games, IMO has now set the bar in interactive video gaming with Until Dawn.

PS2 upscale. It's just one game.

It's being called a remaster, but it's not a thorough one, pretty much just replaced the textures with higher resolution versions. It's also $15, so it's as expected.
