Lack of non violent/sport/racing games on PS3

I'm not someone who's against violence in video games (though it can get tiring) but I've noticed that once you take out sports games or racing/snowboarding/skating/bike games then there are barely any notable releases for the PS3 which contain no violence. Even most of the Lego games have some form of violence even if it's cartoon.

In fact the only ones I can see which are any good that were released on a disc are (there are some more if you count PSN):
Portal 2
Sims 3
Little Big Planet
Journey (PSN release but also on disc)
Some movie based games for kids like Cloudy With Meatballs
Some dancing/singing/party type games

And the reason I wish there were more is not because I hate the violence but because I wish there was more variety. It really shows how tough it is to make a game like Portal 2 or Journey (or maybe they just aren't trying to go for that type).

Hot Shots Golf is non violent and it is fun as heck.

Video games (and all forms of entertainment) need conflict to tell any story.

Mario is the best selling game of all time, plenty of cartoon violence there. The sims has it (people lighting on fire.)

In fact, aside from a couple of "games as art" type games, I can't think of any without violence in some form.

There are games like Tetris, Pinball etc.that are non violent.
