Figure we can just have a thread here instead of filling the STEAM thread.

Anyways I'm still learning and taking my time.

In my current play through I'm slowly moving.
Got married but just now my Marshall has passed away at 68 years old.
Just appointed a new one.
There's a few counties I need to study a bit and 1 in particular I'm about to take.. or try to.
It's rightfully mine so screw it..

my current Kingdom of Rus. Started with Rurik I, He lived to be in his 70s, then went through 2 rulers very quickly, now playing as a young 20 something ruler who has culture shift to Russian and is Slavic(Rurik started out Norse with his son Slavic)

Well..
Finally had a child. First, it wasn't a son. 2nd it was twin daughters.

I'll be a good father but.. crap.

Fantastic game. I only wish the Muslims were more fleshed out. The Decadence system is not very good.

Make sure you do matrilineal marriages for your daughters so her children are your dynasty. Otherwise when she inherits and then dies you lose the game.

I've been "lucky" in my russian game. I've actually only had 1 son each generation, so I haven't had to split up my holdings to all the sons because of Gavelkind succession that Pagans are stuck with until they reform(which will be a very long time). I've also had lot of alliance makers(daughters).

FINALLY A son!

On a side note.. man some of the things that goes on. My middle daughter was busted torturing rats...

Getting the basics down. Only real struggle is with the de jure stuff and claims..
I'll get it eventually.
