Ok, first of all when you get the controller you can tell its quality. It arrived in a nice case and when you open it you see all of the attachments. It has weight to it and the material on it is grippable (more like the Forza controller). It also uses metal in the parts which break most on the regular Xbox One controller that uses plastic. You have multiple sticks to utilize and they come off and on easily via powerful magnets so you can swap out either left or right stick. So for example you might use the shorter stick on the left and longer stick on the right side when you play a first person shooter (as I do). The longer stick gives you more variation in aiming. Makes it easier for me, but of course to each his or her own (which is why this controller is great).

There's not only multiple sticks but multiple d-pads, so you can swap those out for example if you're playing a fighting game or a game in which having an all way directional d-pad would work better than a 4-way. Also, you have a switch on the back on each side for your trigger pull that can be long or short. Short is for shooting games so your gun shoots and due to the short pull is ready to re-fire immediately. This helps out greatly (I tested in Rainbow Six Siege using single fire method) to get shots off when you don't have a semi-auto.

Lastly, you have four paddles which can be attached to the under-carriage of the controller and you can assign any button on the controller to the paddles. This is useful for example if you want a certain button to be reachable by your non-thumb so you don't have to take your thumb off one of the sticks.

It's high quality and I do believe its well worth the money. I would say however, that anyone who gets one should get the Squaretrade 2 year accidental protection for $12 (or the three year) just in case as that is a whole lot of money to spend on a controller that a button breaks just outside of warranty. I also created a forum topic on here to discuss how to better utilize the controller if you want to search for that.

I would have to agree O. I've had mine about 2 months and it really is the best controller I've ever had. Great idea about the short and long sticks. I'm going to use that setup when the Division drops.

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread

Quick question has anybody bought digital games from psngames.org? They have far cry primal for $35 and with that deal I can't pass it up just want to make sure they are a reputable site before throwing away my $.

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread

You apparently buy an account, instead of buying game codes. The account will have the game that you can download.

Re: Official Gaming Deals Thread

Ultimate Foosball 2012 is 59 cents on PSN!!

Seriously though, nice looking flash sale for some older games. Manhunt from PS2 for 99 cents stuck out for me.

Deal is through 3/21
