Playing off of the Best of the Decade thread, how about your biggest disappointments of the decade:

Sports-MLB 2k series, Madden 09, NBA 2k3 (Gamecube version always froze during franchise)

Re: Biggest Disappointments of the Decade

PSP GO !!!!! Total failure ! Hell even the original PSP can be considered a failure since it didnt come close to taking market share from Nintendo.

Sports games.......NBA Live series period. Even though this year and last year they at least tried. Oh EA NCAA college basketball, total failure. You have to do way too many slider adjustments to make it even enjoyable.

Shooters - Rogue Warrior, Darkest Days, Raven Squad

Action - Bourne Conspiracy,, Kane & Lynch, Matrix games

Horror - Silent Hill, Alone in the Dark

Re: Biggest Disappointments of the Decade

Both the exclusive deals, Two Worlds, Madden 06 through 08, MLB 2K8, NBA Live series (excluding the last two...08 was the last I really played), APF 2K8...

I'm sure there's more.

Re: Biggest Disappointments of the Decade

NFL/MLB exclusivity licenses

Grand Theft Auto IV

MLB 2K4-9

Madden next gen until Madden 2010

NCAA next gen

The whole Duken Nukem Forever saga, Quake 4 and Quake Wars, Too Human, Wolfenstein next gen, all Turok sequels, the death of the Dreamcast, the lack of quality titles for the Wii, and probably a lot of other stuff I'm forgetting.

Re: Biggest Disappointments of the Decade

Probably Oblivion; and no NFL 2k games after 2k5. Also 2k4 and 2k9. Both came after stunning games and just totally failed and for some reason went away from everything that made the previous game so good. I guess it could be because they switched developers after 2k3 and 2k8.

Re: Biggest Disappointments of the Decade

Can only remember recent one's but GTA4 and Modern Combat 2 are way up there for me. They both suck and should have been awesome.

The Wii in general also gets a mention.
