Sacred 2

I'm so glad this is finally coming to the console. Anyone else picking this up? My friend and I have it reserved. I absolutely love dungeon crawler type games, such as Diablo, etc...I've heard that they've extended the total quests to over 650 in the game and the co-op looks really fun. I love gathering loot, new weapons, armor, magic, etc....and the mounts look awesome. The game world is 22 square miles and they have said it would take 6 hours of real-time to go from one side of the world to the other. I can't wait. If anyone else is picking it up and would like to play some co-op on Xbox Live, let me know. It's up to 4 players.

Xbox gameplay of a gold copy of the game, won't be a perfect game but 4 player co-op,a huge world, and plenty of looting and leveling up makes it a must buy for me.Me and my buddy plan to co-op this over XBL on the 13th,can't wait!

Re: Sacred 2

I'm a sucker for dungeon crawlers so I'll have to look into this down the road.

IGN Review - 6.2

Quote:
For players looking for an action-RPG loot grind offering plenty of gameplay hours, enemies to kill, and numerous ways to kill them, you'll find it in Ascaron's Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. You'll also find an inconvenient interface, mediocre visuals, and a number of technical drawbacks that keep this from really being a standout experience. The story and the game's eccentric, seemingly random sense of humor could provide satisfaction for some, but ultimately it lacks the character and strength required to keep any solo-type of player engaged. The true draw here is the combat and class customization, so if you've got a few friends around it could serve as a solid distraction for a while with its options for online play while you wait for something better to come along.

Re: Sacred 2

That's pretty much what I expected, but for what I'm looking for in this kind of game this will be perfect for me.I've seen numerous screenshots so I didn't expect this game to be on a Gears of War level in terms of graphics, nor do I expect a great story, but the co-op over XBL(4 people),looting, leveling up,many boss fights, huge world, no loading when waliking in and out of doors, and 200 level cap, and seperate campaigns(light and shadow) are huge selling points for me.

Exactly, I'm so pumped to play an RPG online with a friend or two. It's going to be real time consuming come next Tuesday.
