I like the CoD4 maps better because to me, they feel like they have a better flow and the pace of the game is alot slower than the maps of MW2, but that's just my opinion

Oh I'm not dissing MW2 maps in any way. I love the maps in this game. I just understand where BlueNGold is coming from. As I said before, I didn't play MW1 that much so I have no right to compare the two games' maps, but I do agree that the maps in MW2 don't feel like a place where a war would typically take place. Doesn't mean I don't like them, because I do, a lot.

I think they were going for locales where small Spec-Ops gun fights might breakout... which considering the maps seem reasonable.
Yeah that's true. I would agree with that(and what you said LB).

Yeah this is the feeling I got. It's just that sometimes I guess things get overly hectic IMO. And like z Revis, I'm not hating on the MW2 maps either (other than Wasteland and Rust really) because I do enjoy most of them.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I think that the MW2 maps are pretty solid across the board and I have a more love and hate relationship with the MW1 maps. Some I absolutely love (Crash), some are among my least favorite FPS maps (Bog).

I like the pace of MW1 better than MW2, which I think is partially due to the map design as well as the adjusted game mechanics between the two games.

Only maps I like are Favela, Quarry (used to hate this map), and Wasteland the rest I go "eh, lets just get this over with".

Only map I don't really like is Derail. Mainly because its so huge but always ends up a battle for the same building.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Since I've been sniping lately I dislike the smaller maps like Highrise and scrapyard. For sniping I like Derail, Wasteland, Afgan, Underpass, and Rundown.
