I got into a game last night where I felt like my player was ice-skating every where. I would move and stop but the character would keep sliding for a distance. It was weird.

Same here 360 sounds horrible with all these problems. I havent seen one major glitch or hack on the PS3.

Maybe you were just lagging? That happens to me when I'm lagging or when the host is lagging, and I'm on the PS3.

It's a known issue on 360. I believe someone posted a twitter message about it in this thread and the solution is to dashboard out which is what I'm assuming pressing the middle button and exiting.
