5OFFARKM to get $5 off on Amazon.

Also, if you're an ECA member, you save 10% off all games and game accessory purchases on Amazon for the duration of the 1 year membership. Makes video game purchases on Amazon even sweeter for me, since I'm always buying games. Made the CE of this game much more bearable for me!

Ton of new vids posted on IGN, could be sorta spoilerish so view certain vids at your discretion.

Strange that they have Riddler trophies, but no Riddler. This game is really awesome and I think its about time someone took the ideas from some of our best games this gen (like Bioshock, Dead Space, etc.) and built a Batman game around it.

BTW out of curiosity: has anyone tried both versions? I did and I thought the PS3 one looked slightly better. Is it true the PS3 is only 720p??

The demo at least not sure about the retail version. Has it been confirmed there will be no Riddler?

I tried both, they are exactly the same from what I seen except the 360 looks a little sharper and that may be because the 1080p.

Either way both looking amazing!

The character trophies are pretty cool too. The Killer Croc model looks sick! Awesome textures!!!

Seriously. I want a Spider-Man game of this quality.

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum

I downloaded the demo yesterday evening and played it once. It was fun, but I just don't have it in me to shell out $60 for single player adventure games anymore unless they offer something more (online or sandbox play ala GTA). I would certainly rent this if I have a whole ten days in me to ensure that I complete the game, but I'll have to find that span to begin with.

The game is fun, though. I must admit that I was never a fan of any Batman that wasn't Nolanized, and in fact I'm still not. I didn't like the old movies, the comics, or the cartoons (and I still don't), so to retract to this old style isn't completely doing it for me. But I'm sure that as an avid fan of what I've seen from the most recent movies, I can adapt to it somewhat and have some fun with it.

Even still, if it did not have Batman attached to the name, it would just be a semi-decent stealth/fighting adventure game, IMO. I like the Detective Mode and the character bios, but I think if I was only half-impressed with Infamous this game wouldn't give me much more delight.

And that's not to say this game isn't good, it's great! Just not exactly my cup of tea. Like the poster above me said, if they made Spider-Man games of this quality it would be marveled (see what I just did there?) at a much higher level of appreciation.
