Ok, that's good. Down from 14 last year, but 12 is still good and better than nothing.

Now I'll still pick it up on the way home today..woot.

Can you rank up in private matches?

Wait, so now we can't even have 14 online at a time, it's down to 12 and 16 should be the limt?

I think you can. I know you can rank up in player matches and a private match is essentially a player match (not ranked).

No. I was just giving him an example. You can host up to 14, 13 can be private if you want.

Re: Rainbow Six Vegas 2 discussion

OK, got it. Have only had a few minutes to mess around with it as I'm leaving town in about 20 minutes.

1. I played an online game and a single player terrorist hunt and did not notice any framerate issues, then again, that's going off a sample size of two games so take it for what it's worth.

2. you can host private games, you just have to set all the slots to private. Like you can host a 14 player game and make 13 spots private so yeah there's going to be some OS only games.

3. not sure about the ranking up thing. Like I said, haven't had a chance to mess around with it enough to find that out, sorry.

4. Basically, if you liked the first one, you should like this one.

5. if you play on the same gamertag you did for the first one, you get some gifts at the beginning. It gave me an extra 1250 exp and some different helmets to put on my character.

edit: I would also add that, for the people that care, the graphics have been improved. I know some people are saying they haven't and that they look the same, but all you need to do is watch the player model at the main menu when you're picking him. Also, If you do a multiplayer or terrorist hunt, go look at one of your teammates up close and I think it's pretty clear the player models were improved.
