This is next in my que once I finish DA4. I got a taste early on and really liked it. Then shelved it when DA4 dropped.

Will start soon as we close out DA4

Has anyone played the DLC? I’m loving the game so far and I’m hoping it’ll let me buy the DLC, and then play it while I’m doing my current play through, and not wait until after I’ve beaten the first main story. Would that be possible?

Just finished the game. Took me 56 hours to run through it as well as the DLC, and man I had a blast. I took my time through it but could’ve definitely spent a lot more time on it. I’m not even a Star Wars fan by any means, and I loved this game. I truly have no clue where it got all the hate from. Very solid game I’d recommend anyone picking up.

Finished the main story over the weekend and I thought it was great. I really got attached to the characters. Going to buy the DLC and finish up all of the side quests I hadn’t done yet.

I also don’t understand all of the hate for the game. There are some weird glitches, but nothing game breaking. Just a fun experience.

Yep made no sense to me at all how this game got trashed. I’m just assuming they ironed out a lot through those patches. I even enjoyed the story a bit too.

It isn't surprising. Review sources like IGN are moreso needless critics these days than what they used to be, which seemed to be video game fans writing somewhat-honest reviews. Their editor over reviews rarely posts anything positive anymore. I think they all need therapy of some kind and perhaps some antidepressants.

More reason that I am thankful we have honest, thoughtful reviews from OS.

To be fair, the game was a bit of a mess at launch, which is when the reviews would have come out. It had A LOT of bugs and weird stuff that could interrupt the experience. I enjoy the game now and think it's a nice twist on both the Ubisoft and open-world formula -- plus the prettiest and most Star Wars like art and environments in probably 10+ years -- but I think it took a minute for it to get there even if the guts of the game were always interesting.
