God of War Ragnarok (PS4, PS5)

Not sure why there isnt a thread for this one... But this game looks rather intriguing to me.

I've never played anything in the series before, will I be lost in this one?

God of War (2018) you should definitely play. Story wise it’s important for Ragnarok but it’s also just an amazing game. Are you on PS5? If so even more reason to play 2018 as they patched it to run at 60fps on PS5. I had never played a God of War game before 2018, but I can’t wait for Ragnarok. So yes, play 2018 it’s amazing! And very important story wise too.

I am actually playing through God of War 2005 for the first time. Great game. I've been pleasantly surprised with how much I've enjoyed it along with the storytelling.

I will be working my way to Ragnarok hopefully next year. Game looks great so far.

I'm sure the game will be amazing, but I need at least a 3-year hiatus to recover from my epic (dare I say, heroic?) effort to defeat the Valkyerie Queen. I think that battle took a month off of my life.

This is a game I definitely waiting until getting an OLED first sometime next month. Wonder what the Resolution is for the Performance 120 FPS mode. Wonder if it's 1080P or 1440p or dynamic 4k.
