Available Tuesday, August 24th in the App Store, NHL 2K11 for iPhone and iPod touch features a new control system designed from the ground up; animations and graphics taken from the console version of the game; and fully realized season, shootout and free skate modes of play. To celebrate the launch of the title, 2K Sports is offering the game for the discounted price of $1.99 during its first week of availability.

downloading the Lite version right now, where you're able to play 1 period Flyers vs. Blackhawks. If i like the game, I'm gonna buy it right away.

Hold up, people; the only place you can get the lite or regular versions at this instant is the iTunes Australia store, and any U.S. account can't purchase it there. Why the F release it in Australia first? Hopefully it will be in the iTunes US store by tomorrow morn.

so far..

+ 41 or 82 game season.
+ 2, 5, 10, and 20 min periods.
+ real time last min option.
+ camera options. this had me worried, but not no more.
+ sim season games.
+ everything in the menus is very responsive
+ phone call or text, load game back up picks up where you left off.
+ HUGE plus right here, you can make the CPU play the CPU. Very nice!!

- No center ice team logos booooo. Probably bc of the arena being the same.
- 3 or 4 guys on the bench looks funny lol.
- End of period they walk into the crowd lol.
- no create a player.
- can't edit the players names.
- no FA pool from what I have seen.

The game crashes way too much. I havent been able to complete a single period yet.
