Holding down "speed burst"

Is there a way to do away with the "speed burst" button? I'm tired of holding down the button the whole game.

Re: Holding down "speed burst"

Since the speed burst only works when you skate straight forward, holding it down all the time can only be in vain and/or tire your players.

I would suggest using the sliders to tone down the effectiveness, duration and recovery of the speed burst. Then you have to use it sparingly(sp?), and it becomes an additional element of the game to manage...which I actually like. I did this with 2K9....I am assuming that the options are the same in 2K10.

Yeah Venoms sliders do this very well.... it dosent become a game breaker, infact it adds and element of realism to it, players using that little bit of extra energy to find space or scoot past a player... just see Ovechkins 2nd goal vs the Bruins for an example of what a bit of burst can do to work your way past a defender.
