NHL 2K9 For Ps2?

im really thinking about getting this tomorrow, but before i do can someone help me out.
i know that there is no fighting in the ps2 version but i dont care, i want to get it because of the online feature, does anyone know how many people are usually on? thanks alot

Did you get the game? I bought NHL 09 and wasn't impressed. Wanting to get NHL2k9 but i want to hear some one who has ps2 tell me how it is.

Go rent it and decide for yourself. I bought the PS2 version; it was a decent game with issues. I ended up playing NHL 2K5 and traded 2K9 in long ago.

Hate to bump this old thread but could anyone who played this version tell me if the accelerated clock is broken? Because I cant seem to get it to work. If it is broken how many minutes in "real time" will give me a realistic game? I'm assuming 10 min maybe?
