He's also extremely overrated.

Grimes is a better fit.

You're forgetting Tim Jennings. He's a decent talent too. I say any of my selections could be an option for Dallas.

He's not worth the contract Asomugha would have gotten and, even if he was, throwing huge contracts at guys (especially one's carrying the rep he has) isn't what the Cowboys need to be doing right now. They need solid value pick ups and good drafting.

Just ask youself "What would Jerry do?" Then assume the opposite is the correct move.

Not sure what you mean here. He's been fine in Baltimore rotating at guard and center, and Birk doesn't have much time left. Not sure what you may have heard but don't believe it.

The person I quoted used the words unforgivable, awful, and mismanaged to characterize the Cowboys releasing Gurode. While Phil Costa (Gurode's replacement) didn't play great, I don't know that Gurode played that much better in B-more.

If Gurode responded with an All-Pro or Pro Bowl season (did he?), then I would feel similar to how "untrughby" described.

its not about Gurode its how awful Costa was and they had to have seen that in the preseason given that Costa got all the reps while Gurode was out. They knew Costa was awful way below starting quality and cut Gurode anyways. Its unforgivable because we wasted at least 1 year "rebuilding" on a team that has to win now.
