Links to Files from the Past

Anyone can post with files they still use for this game found on this forum. For instance, the patched roster update was posted a long time ago but no one ever posts in thread anymore so its 3 pages back. Its also not easily recognizable because its not named right. So lets use this as a space to guide newcomers and vets alike. Got the idea from the ebons advice post where someone linked ebons files in it.

ps3 and 360(later in the thread) ea patched/updated roster with brett farve on jets

Duntov's Coach rating excel spreadsheet(updated by algoody421). This excel file will help anyone using one of the original rosters on what every position coach's potential is as a coordinator. Some rosters have made it so every coach can reach a 5 in every position, still this file will at least show you the starting rating. For roster purists like myself, this makes it so you dont have to waste time when promoting from within/hiring coaches that walked or were fired(only original coaches).

Aforementioned post from ebongreen's advice thread. Highly recommend reading it if you havent played this game long. This guy put in a lot of work and created some great research and files.

Re: Links to Files from the Past

I've found most of Ebongren's posts already and I am using his slider sets. I just wished I had find this game when it was first released. A much improvement from HC 06. A very fun and deep game for a console game.

Re: Links to Files from the Past

The link above for the roster updates has a corrupt file for the xbox 360 roster. Does anybody know where we can get a copy of it? maybe somebody that still palys could email it to me? Also I didnt notice if my game patched when i put it in because i was doing other things at the time. "Watching the draft" lol. Is there a way to tell if it has been patched easily?

Here's another handy spreadsheet to tell you how many plays of each kind are in each defensive playbook. That way if you're looking to build a team with a specific style of play in mind(ie zone blitz), you look through here and you'll see the playbooks with the most of them.
