Developing Trainer Skills

I am in my second year of my first career. Philly won the Superbowl, I built the foundation for the team I wanted, but got the "injury bug" through play creation before reading this forum. My question is regarding the Trainer, and whether their problems are the result of this bug. I say "their" because I fired the first one (14 rating) and hired a 60+ guy. Problem is, both trainers never got one skill point to spend all season. Zip. Nada. The first year my trainer had 0 points to spend, now 5 games (5-0) into year two with a new trainer and he has 0 points. Other coordinators and coaches are gathering points like crazy. Anyone else notice this?

Re: Developing Trainer Skills

From what I've gathered your are almost always better off just going after the best trainer you can in the offseason. Building up your trainer seems to be a very slow process.
