TeamBuilder Wishlist 14

Still way to early but the Dev team should have a separate team just for TeamBuilder. After 2 years it's still the same, no improvements. It's time for an upgrade and this is what I would love to see. Personalization is very important to me at least.

This is my list, Other users have posted better ideas than me. But EA needs to step up their game. FIFA Creation Centre is new to me and it's amazing.

General

-Basically the same, I wouldn't change much of it.

Logo

-Two slots for MAIN and SECONDARY logos.
-One slot for conference patches. It's almost mandatory now for schools to repersent their conferences.
-One slot for jersey brand. Nike, Adidas, Russell, and Under Armor.

Stadium

-Keep all FBS, Bowls and High school stadiums.
-Add more generic stadiums. Use the high school stadiums BUT add more seatings so it can look like a college stadium.
-Add create a stadium; how many seats you want, background, color, goal posts.

Field

-Keep exisiting fields.
-Add logo slot for Endzone Art and sideline Art.
-Able to write near the sideline. (ie. BYU "Tradition. Spirit. Honor")
-More field styles, grass, syntetic, Multi-colored, blue turf, red turf or black turf.
-More text fonts for endzone.

Uniform
WHERE DO I BEGIN?

-Seperate templates by brand (ie. Nike, Adidas, etc.) and more jerseys.
-Add 2 more helmets, jeserys and pants.
-Able to edit sock colors.
-On the helmet, options for add numbers and American flag in the back. Custom text in the front and in the back.
-One the jerseys, and pre-slots for Conference and Brand logo, able to upload another logo just for the right and left cuff. More text fonts for front logo. Able to choose custom wording instead of having the name on the back (ie. Army "West Point")
-MORE TEMPLATES!
-Able to choose exisiting school uniforms BUT without School logos, brand and conference. Use the uniforms plain uniforms.
-Pants, MORE TEMPLATES and more STYLE.
-Able to write custom text on the uniforms (ie. Wynomig "Cowboys")
-Be able to use gray uniforms for away games (ie. Utah State)

Probably have more but got writers block.

Mascot

Program

Would keep the same but maybe able to upload fight song.

Roster

-Uniform edits.

Would also like to see ability to choose rivals and set school records. Hate that you just inherit the rivals from team you replace. Same with school records, let me set that up online. And if my Career record as a team is 0-0 before week one, how do I have school Records.

As for stadium, I agree with you completely. I wanna create my own stadium, not pick from generics or one already in game.

If I could even edit the look of a current stadium I wouldn't mind TOO much. But If I choose FSU stadium, I have my school playing with FSU colors and signage everywhere. If I could edit that, I could live with it.

Mascot, how bout Create my own instead of picking one?? Not big into mascots when creating my team/teams, but I know some people luv that type thing.

Would also like the ability to edit entrances, and ability to update team during my dynasty. maybe I wanna start out as a 1* cupcake and try to build it into a Dominant 6* Powerhouse. Let me set it up so I start at a 20,000 low budget stadium and turn it into a 100,000 State of the Art stadium.

The ability to import 120 teams into dynasty would be awesome.... or 124 for next year to swap every team in dynasty. I spent a long time creating my Ohio schools and would love to be able to play an all-ohio dynasty..... please EA please do this for us. We buy 120 slots because we want to ability to do this.

There would be nothing better than the ability to do this...especially if they put in a post season playoff mode!

If they left teambuilder completely untouched, but let us use a completely custom team dynasty, I would be happy

General: Only addition should be choosing a school's rival, including other created schools as rivals.

Logo: Add more logo slots and have option for company logo (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Russell, New Balance, Reebok, etc.)

Stadium: It would be nice to edit existing stadiums since EA probably wont introduce a Stadium Builder. Stadiums also should have the ability to have dual goal posts like at LSU & Florida State.

Field: Should be fully editable. Need the ability to add designs to the field, like how some teams have designed/colored sidelines. Also should have the ability to choose color scheme for conference logos on the field. Need option to have 5 yr line markers, putting a "G" at the goal line, and colored 20 yd lines and goal lines. Need option for red turf.
Need the ability to design a team's endzone for bowl games. New endzone designs are needed: Checkerboard, slashes, Helmet design inside endzone, etc.

Uniforms: In need of vast improvements/updates

Helmets: Need the ability to choose helmet texture (Glossy, Glossy w/ flakes, Metallic, Glossy/Metallic mix, Matte, Chrome, Carbon Fiber, etc.) Need more stripe designs/options to choose from as well as overall options like having a gradient fade, eagle wings, and viking horns, and bengal/tiger stripes. Need to add pride sticker option, warning sticker, United States flag, state flags, other country flags, edit front and back helmet bumpers. Need the ability to put numbers on one side and a helmet decal on the other side.

Jerseys: Got to have jersey templates that are company specific like Nike Pro Combat/Speed Machine, adidas Techfit, Under Armour unis, etc. Update & add new multiple fonts for jersey numbers and name on back. Add more uniform stripes/designs for the jersey, the collar, and cuffs. Have the ability to edit placement of conference logos.

Pants: As said before, templates based on companies. More stripes/design options. Need ability to add text to pants as well. Need to be able to color belts.

Socks/Shoes: Need to be able to choose between shoe color schemes (Black, White, Black/White, White/Black, Team Color/Black, Team Color/White, White/Team Color, Black/Team Color). When you choose that, you shoe be able to choose shoe company which will determine your team's gear and cleat choices. Need colored socks as well as pro style socks, striped socks, and company-specific socks.

Mascot & Program go untouched.

Roster: Need the ability to edit player's gear and hometown, since hometown determines your school's recruiting pipelines.

for uniforms, i think EA should do what the WWE franchise does and have the ability to customize the ring gear/uniforms of the wrestlers/teams. let us make uniforms on teambuilder that are not in the game or not even exisiting ones, and let us upload them to NCAA 14. If i want to make UConn have an all black uniform, i should be able to just upload the uniform to UConn's existing ones w/out having to "make" a team.
