I run at least a few times a game with my quarterbacks -- rarely on a scramble, but often on option. It's pretty easy to not take hits with them. It diminishes stamina and they are much more prone to fumbles, so it's just my choice to slide instead of taking direct hits.

Man anytime I try to slide, they almost ALWAYS dive instead. And the controls should say "Square button: Dive/Fumble" lol.

I wish they would just eliminate the dive function from this game...A: it doesnt work. Ur better off trucking and hoping to fall forward a couple yards. And B: I can't ever remember a time that I NEEDED to use it, except for the rare cases that I'm home-free for a TD and I go down on purpose to burn clock at the end of a close game (a la Brian Westbrook)...

They could make it default Slide for a QB and if you're a rb or wr make it a "Leap" for times where you need to jump over the pile, etc (would make jmp ratings a lot more relevant)...
