THB's Varisty Hum vs. CPU Sliders

A little bit about why I am doing this

First off, shout out to Matt10, Playmakers, Josh, Buffeye and everyone else that has contributed to creating sliders for all of us to enjoy. Y'all are the inspiration for me to finally venture out and do this on my own. I have been trying to enjoy this game offline for over a year now like everyone else but I just haven't been able to due to slideritis. Luckily, I have been involved with some great OD's that have kept me playing this game. However, like most on here, I grew up playing offline and have been for over a decade, and seeing as this could be the last NCAA game for a while, I didn't want to give up

About my sliders

A lot of the inspiration behind my sliders were from Playmakers varsity sliders for NCAA 11(a game in which I still love and play) I posted in JCHISENH2016 thread a little more about what I am looking for in my sliders. So I will just link that instead of explaining it again(first post is #68) http://www.operationsports.com/forum...sliders-7.html

I started a different dynasty than the one I am discussing in the above link so here is some detail about that:

Rosters: 2014 community rosters

Notes:
-I lowered my RB's to 70 stamina so that auto subs would actually work
-Trying to avoid the skill tree so I started at level 10 and slowest progression

Not going to post stats from Week 1 as I played an FCS team. We will just say it was a blowout, I used it to tweak a couple things here and there.

Week 2 @ Notre Dame

Game Notes
- The first half was slow going for me. I could hardly throw the ball as I was adjusting to the 0 QBA on the road. It seemed both my QB's were affected by being on the road even with HFA
- The CPU running game was extremely encouraging. Hopefully not a one time thing
- CPU hit 72% of passes. I am OK with this number for now. My secondary is young and Golson threw a lot to his TE's and over the middle
- Irish MLB Councell returned a fumble 74 yards for a TD
- Game turned on a deep crossing route with 5:00 to go. I hit Quinshad Davis in stride(finally) for a 75 yard TD. I then scored again with 40 seconds left to send it to OT
- ND went on D to start OT. 3rd and short they force a fumble and recover! My D then stands strong and 1st and 2nd down. They decide to throw and my freshman corner steps in front of a deep out route for a 76 yard pick 6!

Varsity is the way to go IMO. At least on offense. I feel that it most realistically captures the feel of college football without making it unrealistic.

Re: THB's Varisty Hum vs. CPU Sliders

Didn't get to play a full game. But I loved it!! Man, this was fun! Enjoyed every bit. I will play more tomorrow, I have too now! Haha.

I saw some things I'd like to tweak, but it might be a preference thing. I went from 10 minutes to 8 cause 8-9 is a good. 9 is kinda bad, but it works. Average of plays lasst; highest 63.4 lowest 40 something... 10 minutes exceeds that. 9 gives you a good amount. I will probably switch mine to 9.

But I will keep posting scores and things I might change.

Anyways, great job man! I loved it so far!

- I added my top two tacklers stats. Both linebackers. It is nice to see my MLB racking up tackles as he should!
- My defense played great in the first half. Unfortunately so did theirs..
- Had a chance to take the lead late but I got picked off trying to go deep. They took advantage and drove down for the game winning drive midway through the 4th.
