wildcat_o AA sliders - need tested

Disclaimer: I am not a slider genius. I get slideritis very bad this time of year. I am a 16 handicap NCAA player, as are most in our OD

I developed this set to avoid the Heisman DB glitch and still provide a tough game against good opponents. I used Oraeon's theories from his slider testing thread.

While I wait for the OS Rosters I have been tweaking this set for our OD. I am looking for any feedback possible.

AA - Normal - 50 Thresh

QBA - 5/10
PBK - 35/60
WRC - 40/50
RBA - 50/60
RBK - 40/60

PCV - 50/60
INT - 30/30
RDF - 40/60
TAK - 45/50

FGP - 35/30
FGA - 35/40
PPW - 25/25
PAC - 70/70
KOP - 25/25

Thanks in advance for anyone that can provide some feedback. I get so caught up in each game that I sometimes find myself adjusting to much (slideritis)... I need an outsiders viewpoint...

A couple items with your set...

Based on Oraeon's testing, are you noticing a lot of separation between HB/TE's and LB's with the low threshold?

Also, and anyone can chime in, have you noticed that screen passes are going for huge yardage a great percentage of the time? How do we combat that?

Thanks

Disclaimer: I'm not a slider guru by any means either. But I think I read that increasing the pass coverage slider affects how the entire defense reacts to trick plays such as screens, halfback draws, QB options, and play action passes. So increasing the coverage slider would increase reaction time of defenders to plays such as these.
Hopefully a slider guru could verify what I just said.

Re: wildcat_o AA sliders - need tested

I hadn't looked at his sliders until now. Seems pretty good. Threshold may very well only control LBs. I started at 40 (because of another slider set) and noticed DT hawking my QB and RBs. Every game I play, I look for things that can be improved. For six straight games, slow DL keep catching me on the other side of the field. It does help to lower it. I don't really get "hawked" anymore. As far as LBs not being fast enough....I haven't noticed problems. If a LB is out of position, he gets beat or blocked. If it's even close, I switch to a safety. The speed of the LB is kinda void. Coverage and Rush Defense has more to do with positioning (which is how LBs get beat).

Side note: I moved CPU QB Accuracy to 10 (% was around 90. Now 65)
User Pass Blocking to 40 (getting sacked by 4 man rush 6-8 times)

The best thing for anyone to do is just take a slider set and play games. Adjust them to your playing ability. Some things will be spot on and some things will need to be moved around. My team is Southern Miss. I found a team that was very close in rating and I try to make the CPU play as tight as possible. If there is a crazy injury or KO TD or something: I throw out that play. If there is a coverage sack, I don't change anything. Basically try to have a hard fought game go into overtime. If you can do that, you have a perfect slider set for YOU! And if the next week you blow out a lower rated team or get destroyed by a higher ranked team, perfect. If you read everyone's finding on every slider set, your head will explode!!!

Absolutely agree. The problem lies when I am trying to develop a set for a 8-10 man online dynasty..

Will test, thanks for the input...
