Rosters For PS2 Games

I went to www.gamefaqs.com, and they have quite few files for the older NCAA Football game for PS2. However, I do not know how to use the files. Most are .max or .cbs files.

Should I go to http://www.gamefaqs.com from my PS2 and not my PC? Can I download the roster files directly from the website to my PS2? Will I need any additional files to convert the files from http://www.gamefaqs.com ?

You can't download directly to PC.

Max files require the use of Action Replay device. (i.e. the AR Max DVD + usb stick). Another method is to use Free McBoot.
