Thinking of creating a classic roster.. any interest or year suggestions?

Been working on the PS3 community set for 2014, but my love for classic rosters has taken me over the past few days, and as that project wraps up I am really considering making a classic roster during my spare time through the school year.

My main problem is figuring out what year I want to do. Definitely will choose between 1996-2005. I know people have shown interest in 2005, but we'll see..

If anyone is interested, leave a comment and your opinion here. Going to see if I can get the editor working, then I'll choose and get started soon after..

Hey i would love if someone created a 1995 or 1999 roster, i started to do a 1999 roster but it is a ton of work

I would prefer like 2006 or 2008 but thats prolly just because Im a gator fan

But maybe an all 2000's roster would be cool. I love being able to play as guys from different years.

1999 or 2000. Good memories for me with those years. That's when I really started following CFB more than just a casual fan

Would you be willing to share some of your research if I choose the '99 route?

Really considering '99 at this point. My main problem though with picking rosters from 15 years ago is that the information (especially for the smaller schools), is really scarce, so any info/help I can get would be much appreciated. Likely I can do all of the big schools, but the MAC teams will be hard.

Especially considering I realized I don't have a Phil Steele or preview magazine from that year..

I have been thinking of trying to get some guys together to make a GREATEST College Football Teams of ALL-Time Roster. Or just the Best Teams of Last 30 years. If that would interest you in working on let me know.

I think someone did a best players of the last 30 years project last year.. if I find the link I'll post it.

And for the first idea, do you mean like 2005 Texas, 2004 USC, 1999 Florida State, that sort of thing?
