SEC Quarterback Ratings

I'm in the process of going through the SEC by position and re-rating players. I've put together my QB ratings and I'm looking for some input. This will be in 4 sections. Starters, backups, incoming recruits, and sorted by team. Any input is appreciated.
NOTE: All rankings of recruits were found at Rivals.com

Re: SEC Quarterback Ratings

Please keep this up for every position. Also you list Brantley as an 84, then as an 82 when its by team. I think he deserves the 82, until proven otherwise. Also, you got Bray on par with Relf. I think Relf is better NOW, although but Bray has the potential to be better, but again until proven otherwise Bray should be down around the 84-85 mark. Also not quite sure why you rated Kiehl Frazier higher than Brissett. But pretty good stuff

Brantley's at a 84 was a typo. He was supposed to be an 82. I can see what your saying about Relf and Bray, Personally, I like Bray better and think he's a better QB, but since he is still a bit unproven I would have no problem with him at a 85. Frazier and Brissett were very close together. Brissett to a 76 would not be a strech at all. Honestly, I know more about Frazier so that is part of the reason I put him a bit higher. Thanks for the input. I'm hoping to get the RB ratings posted soon.

Re: SEC Quarterback Ratings

I'd lower Jordan Jefferson to be closer to Brantley. His numbers last year were actually a little worse than Brantley's, but he has had good games before.

Brantley - 200/329 (60.8%), 2061 yards, 9 TD, 10 INT, 116.36 rating
Jefferson - 118/209 (56.5%), 1411 yards, 7 TD, 10 INT, 114.65 rating

Jefferson is a better runner than Brantley though.

Re: SEC Quarterback Ratings

That's pretty creepy. Your list almost matches how I re-rated them. These are the few exceptions:

Aaron Murray-88
Jeff Brantley 84
Tyler Bray- 85
Jefferson-82
Clint Mosely-80 (Still think he may have a chance to start. Heard just as much about him as I have Trotter, as far as media is concerned. Auburn fans thing Frazier will eventually start. I go against this thought because he played in such a low level of competition in high school.)

Re: SEC Quarterback Ratings

I think 86 is a little high for Bray. I think the kid has a high ceiling, but I hesitate to give him so much credit for throwing a bunch of TDs against Memphis and the 3 worst teams in the SEC to end the season. (also threw a whole lot of picks in those games). I would probably go as follows:

Murray: 89
Garcia: 87
Wilson: 87
Jefferson: 84
Relf: 84
Bray: 84
McCarron: 83
Brantley: 82
Newton: 81
Smith: 79
Trotter: 78
Mackey: 76

Re: SEC Quarterback Ratings

Overall ratings don't really tell me much. Show me their speed, agility, acceleration, awareness, throwing power, throwing accuracy. Those are what really matter IMO on how to gauge a QB in a football game.

That looks pretty good. I think both Relf and Bray should be higher than Jefferson. I wouldn't put McCarron that high just yet.

I'm not at my PS3 now but I'll try to get those up later.
