Do you need xbox live to get rosters?

Is xbox live the only way of getting rosters? how much and how do you get live if thats the only way

I believe that you do. From what I know/have heard, the old way of transferring rosters via memory card or other outside ways is not in use anymore. I could be wrong though. If I'm right, then EA Locker, via xbox live is the only way to go.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

If you do not have online. Than you have to have a friend that has live. The only way to get them is from the lockers online. Or off of someones system that already has them. So find a buddy get them downloaded and than put them on a memory card and put them on your box.
