ODD REQUEST: Does anyone have NCAA Football 2002 rosters in PS3 format?

So are you saying that you updated the rosters of NCAA Football 2002 on PS2 with teams from 2008-2011? In PS3 format? I am trying to do something similar in NCAA 2003, but 2002 was a good game. Haven't played NCAA 2002 in a long time.

I just wanted to clarify this comment because it's not entirely accurate.

You can transfer these .PSV files via USB to your PS3 even if it's not backwards compatible. Then you can transfer them back to a PS2 memory card (using a USB memory card adapter) and then use them on your PS2 with the memory card.

Perhaps this thread isn't meant for rosters for either NCAA 13 or 14 & if not then that is my answer to the below question:

I have read and re-read these instructions several times and I am totally confused.

What I wish to do is use these rosters in this thread on my PS3 which apparently isn't a backwards compatible model.

I have downloaded these 2002; 2003; 2004; 2005; 2006 & 2007 rosters linked within this thread. Then unzipped them and they do unzip into a PS3/Export/PSV directory file with .PSV files within them.

On my PS3 I can copy these from my usb flash drive (which I placed them on) and place them into an Internal Memory Slot on my PS3. But they still or not accessible in my NCAA 13 game.

I think I need to buy a PS2 memory adapter/reader for my PS3 along with a PS2 memory card. Then place them from my PS3 internal memory onto the PS2 memory card which then they would be accessible on my NCAA 13 PS3 game.

That's what it reads like in this thread to get them to play on a PS3 but the instructions start by saying this is how you do it with a PS3 but then states then you can play them on your PS2. That's what's confusing me.



Here's where I am confused with #6 below saying into my PS2 :



In working with a few others on transferring roster files, I realized that people can share PS2 files (e.g., roster files, profiles, etc.) much easier than they realize -- it doesn't require exchanging a PS2 memory card provided that each person who wants the file has a PS2 memory card adapter / reader and a PS3:

Here is how it works.

1. Let's assume I have a PS2 roster file on a PS2 memory card. Using the memory card adapter, I transfer the file from the PS2 memory card to a PS2 internal memory card on my PS3 (my PS3 does NOT need to be backwards compatible to do this). If my PS2 roster file is already on my PS3 (for instance, if I have a backwards compatible PS3), then you would start with step 2.

Alternatively, I may have a PS2 roster file in .PSV format which I can transfer to my PS3 with a USB.

2. I then transfer the file from my PS3 to a USB (it will be in .PSV format).

3. Next, I zip the file and e-mail it to the person who wants it.

4. The person who receives the file transfers it from his computer to a USB, and then transfers it from the USB to an internal memory card on the PS3.

5. If the person has a backwards compatible PS3, he now has the file available. If not, he can transfer the file from the PS3 to a PS2 memory card using the memory card adapter.

6. Then, he can insert the PS2 memory card into the PS2 and is ready to use the file.

These rosters only work for the applicable game (e.g., NCAA 2007 for PS2) and are intended for people with backward compatible PS3s who can play the PS2 game on their PS3.
