Unnecessary Overtime Glitch

Just finished a tournament game with a friend. We ended regulation tied at 44. Even though we ended tied, one team reacted like they had won and the other reacted like they had lost. Then instead of going to an overtime, the game just went to the end of game menu, where I could look at the stats, highlights, quit..etc. etc. We weren't allowed to finish the game. Again this was in the tournament mode, it was not Play Now or Dynasty.

I hope this isn't a glitch for all modes.

Don't remember any. But I'm not 100% sure.

It was for sure a tie score. The game stats showed it 44-44.

NBA Live 10 has this exact same problem...

No way EA releases two games with such a massive bug...especially now that the LIVE bug has been well known for a month.

Are you 100% sure.

If so...just wow. Unbelievablely poor.

100%. Does NBA Live have this for all modes?

Yes...season mode, dynamicsc season...online...one off games...

There's a massive bug...goaltending doesn't register on the scoreboard.

So...neither you or the CPU know the score late in a game.

I.e. if it's 68-68...but there was a goaltending earlier in the game, the real score is 70-68...

So...even though you see "68-68"...that's not the score.

You will get games where you lose 70-66 go into overtime.

You will get games where you tie...not go into into overtime.

You will get games where the CPU jacks up a 3 (when only down 2) at games end...because the score isn't what you see on the screen.

That's why you saw no O/T... and a tied game with one team celebrating.

It's one of the biggest, game killing bugs, I have seen in a sports game.

EA really don't give a rats about their customers if they've sold you this knowing for weeks now about this bug.

Almost unbelievable they'd sell this thing with the bug...knowing of all the complaints LIVE users have already told them about.

This might be different though. I hit quit game, and it went back to the tournament bracket and showed our game as not played. If OSU had truly won they game as they reacted, wouldn't they have advanced to the next round of the tournament after I quit the game?

yeah goaltending doesnt register, weird
