Re: Scott OG headed back to EA Sports

Just posted that in another thread a few minutes ago. A big loss for 2k, but a big gain for EA Sports. It can be assumed that it will be for NBA Live. I really like the move. I would love for Live to get back to a competitve state. Competition would help 2k and a good Live game brings another option for us consumers. It starts with having the right people, and he is one of them

Re: Scott OG headed back to EA Sports

Rob Jones looks to be headed to EA as well, just basing it off of his Twitter handle name change.

Rob Jones hasn't been in the spotlight like how he use to be for 2k.
Hope this does mean a new Live game and we hear what direction they are heading in the next couple months

It sucks to lose Scott on NBA 2K especially from an AI perspective, but hopefully he can make some positive stuff happen at EA.

Damn, EA poaching from the NBA 2K team hard. Sucks losing Rob Jones too.

I like the moves. Can't beat 'em, take some of their best assets. I just hope they have a plan and vision that they stick too. I hope they aren't focused on "beating 2k". Mike Wang said in an interview couple years ago that when he was there, they were focus on how to beat 2k instead of building best game possible

Round 2 of EA needing 2k devs to fix NBA Live.. how sad is that?
