Xmas Noobs

Seeing a steady 400 people online now. Nice to see more people in pro am. Playing against all these 70's rated people really shows how ratings matter. I'm destroying people in the paint with my big on offense and defense.

Re: Xmas Noobs

Gotta chuckle a bit at 'steady 400'....thought there would be a bit bigger of a increase after X-Mas...but a increase is an increase.

Feasting on noobs is always great though....I definitely got my #'s up in a couple game this past one...

Re: Xmas Noobs

I have come across all types of new players in the pro am acting like we are playing a 10 man rough. get out of the pain. lol good to see some activity within the game. Being able to sell cards in the auction house again is a good thing as well.

This is true. I personally have seen a peak of 637 online players and typically see in the mid 500's within the last week.

Re: Xmas Noobs

Unfortunately pro am will probably remain a lonely place if other "noobs" such as myself experience pro am as I did.
Played about 10 games and all 10 we're ball hogged ISO dribbling dunk fests with no real basketball tactics involved. No thanks.

Yep. I got the ball 2 - 3 times in three games. I even had a guy on my team start cursing me out for getting a "3 in the key" called on me, lol.

I've for a general question for you guys. I'm getting a bad delay when it comes to jumping. I have to jump 2 seconds early to have any chance at a block or rebound. I've also noticed when I tap square for a steal, my guy jumps sometimes. Is any of that normal?

There's a rebounding delay....you have to hit the rebound button when the ball hits the rim instead of when it's in the air. Takes a while to get used to but I've got it down now, lol

I played a game last night where this one guy refused to pass the ball. so much so that the defense just keyed in on him since they knew he would not pass it. all we needed was one basket to win. he was in the left corner with the whole team guarding him. i was all alone under the basket and he did not pass me the ball. he tried to shoot over the whole team, it looked like bdots kobe video. his last 3 possesion got blocked and they came back and won the game. i was so dissapointed.

One thing for me that helps is i play center. which means i have to be the facilitator. i have can create my own touches by getting rebounds and moving the ball around which rarely happens. most of the point guards in the game are all Russell Westbrook clones.
