Sounds like it's the same trial as EA access grants, but just not five days early. Interesting decision. So the "demo" is the full game, but only for six hours.

mean while ps4 owners get a full 4 quaters of thunder cavs... forever?

How I am interpreting it is that XBO user's either get a 6 hour trial on the 23rd, or a 6 hour trial on the 28th, depending on if they have EA Access. Highly doubt you get both. The advantage is that you'll be able to play the game in its entirety, with all teams, while PS4 users get CLE\OKC for 4 quarters.
