First Glimpse of NBA Live 15

The only restrictions I've ever heard about the NFL including in their games is tattoos on the players. I don't know what all these other game altering restrictions are. The most restriction I've ever heard about an NBA game is not having technical fouls because they think it'd make their players look bad. A stance they've obviously relaxed on in recent years since you can be hit with a technical foul in game.

Lol their is nothing like that it's just more excuses made by either EA or EA supporters but they are improving on their game as the years go by veeeeeery slowly but surely, so hopefully we won't have to hear these excuses anymore.

Here's a list of the features removed by the NFL from Madden. As you said though, it has nothing to do with the lack of quality animations and smart AI.

Thank you sir for this! As I suspected those are moves that, as a company, I understand they had to make or was in their best interest. None of that justifies the path that Live chose. They can do better...I think we can all agree on that.

No not that. For example , in the Madden thread it was the mentioned didn't like some of the big hits Ea wanted to put in like helmets coming off and necks snapping. Something like that could alter animations there.

I know its common here to have tunnel vision and not think outside the box when it comes to EA. It becomes personal which makes no sense to me. To say they can never correct these problems in either basketball or football doesn't seem logical .
You didn't say that but alot of people think that way. Like I said, people get too possessive. I love 2k but to say EA could never do this or that makes no sense from a gamer/consumer stand point.

Again, to disclaimer I'm not accusing you of saying anything I just mentioned or anything after this paragraph. I'm speaking in general.

I support both EA and 2k because as a gamer I want options. It wouldn't make sense for me to automatically denounce a game based off of a glimpse.

everyone has to start somewhere and these folks haven't been in the NBA game business for a while. I don't expect them to make the greatest basketball game of all time in year two.

I'm not a game developer and I have no idea what it takes to make these game so I don't beat up these guys who do. I know its difficult.

As far as Madden is concerned, I just want continued progress.

I want both games to be great and give us their best effort, but EA really has to bring it with Live 15. I have been looking at the feedback and reaction from this new info and most of the community still does not trust them. I hope the cautious feedback from the community lights a fire in them to give us the Live that we have deserved since Elite 11.

Live could have flawless graphics and it wouldn't matter because they are YEARS behind in gameplay
