fought hard? ea hasn't dropped a ball game in 3 years, pretty easy to take the crown that way lol

2K owned Live well before Elite 11.

Dribbling may be big in basketball but that's never been a big issue with basketball games (maybe signature dribbling though). It's always been physics in the paint with body collisions and footwork. Live hasn't shown anything hinting at physics outside of bounceTek. 2K, on the other hand, put in work for current (and obviously next-gen) with collisions between players. Live just may flop again this year.

I don't know....You can't through a fresh coat of paint on something and call it new. Personally, I just get tired of EA introducing new gimmicks and calling them "features". BounceTek sounds like it could be a great feature, but for EA, more often than not, these things manifest themselves in odd ways. Very seldom are the features implemented to the degree to which they are marketed. EA markets as good or better than almost anyone. Hell, they could probably market 2K14 better than 2K does.

I'm not big on gameplay vids before release (my mind and $ is already set in stone to get NBA 2K14 for PS4), but I am curious to eventually see some video of what EA is cooking up. Not to compare, cause at this point, I have no confidence EA Orlando can deliver a quality product anymore. 2 or 3 game cancellations since Live 2010 was released, its just a bit absurd at this point to think EA will be anything comparative to what 2K14 is offering. I know, I know....all this time the've had...to get it right...they can't possibly release a dud can they? Well I'm passed the point where they can tell me what they're going to do. You gotta show me. ACTIONS, SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

The sizeup dribble is what gets the defender off balance. That's the point.
And don't get me started on 2k's "physics" and collision detection. That has been one of the biggest issues with 2k for me.

From the beginning of time until recently that was an obvious travel, picking up your dribble with 2 feet touching the ground and then jumping backwards again was something a wrestler or football player would do in gym class and we would laugh, now it draws oohs and aahs.

Pretty much why I stopped being an NBA junkie and watch a fraction of what I used to watch, I'm more of a playoff guy now.
