Does anybody still have the demo?

Hey guys, do any of you remember before NBA Elite 10 was canceled and Microsoft released the demo of it for like 2-3 days and then removed it due to the delay and cancellation?

Because I still have the demo for it I never deleted it. Does anybody else?

Re: Does anybody still have the demo?

i do, and i don't intend on deleting it anytime soon. I actually REALLY enjoyed this game and the concept of the shot stick. Yes, nba games have incorporated the shot stick in one way or another over the years, but this one's concept and logic were awesome. I like seeing the two little circle diagrams in the corner, and seeing how i missed shots and when i nailed em. This game ACTUALLY took practice and i'm bummed its not coming out anytime soon.

I did try the 2k11 demo, and honestly wasn't impressed. I'm not a normal basketball fan, but ELITE was something i was going to preorder and pickup because i liked the new gameplay element. (+nba jam)...

i feel you man i still got it and im not gonna delete it until they come out with another one cause i really like with this game was becoming it just needed alot of anmation all over, ex. layups, dunks, dunk on people, reb, steals, shooting, passing, blocking, fouls, etc. but this is a fun demo to play to get away from 2k at times.

Re: Does anybody still have the demo?

thanks for making this topic. Hell yea I do for PS3, not gonna delete it until it is replaced by this years effort. I want to try it for xbox360 as i feel xbox360 handles sports titles a little better than ps3, maybe its all in my head. this game gets a bum rap, but it does a lot of things right. Its a skill based game just like the sport of basketball or any sport for that matter and the real time physics were refreshing. animations left a lot to be desired but thats always been the case with the live series now hopefully they fix this issue an revamp animations all together. Gameplay wise this game shines. you can steal with either hand while on the move, alter shots mid air, throw yourself an alley oop off the glass, while doing a eurostep c'mon son?!?!? this is all done without using a street fighter move list to perform dribble moves. interesting enough, i wonder if the stamina and fatigue system from the new fight night can be implemented to even further realism and depth

Re: Does anybody still have the demo?

I still have it, and play it from time to time when bored. One thing I really don't like is the fact that once you nail the shot timing, you can never miss with a guy like Ray Allen. I once hit 6 threes in a row with Rondo lol. Not bashing the game, I actually can't wait to see what they did with the game this year. But yes, I still have it and play it.
