Best NBA Live for PS2 and or Xbox

Just started playing my original xbox the other day and man am i loving the classics. I have a local shop in which i can get any game for ps2 and xbox and i was wondering which year is best for nba live and ncaa basketball, i have 06 but in all your opiniona which is yours?

Well well well... IMO these were the best two of that gen of console games:

NBA Live 2003
NBA Live 2005

Thank you, so 05 is worth it? I mean it's like 2 bucks no so it's not a hassle to buy

Live 05 brings back fond memories, EASILY the best Live of that generation, and likely my favourite basketball game of that gen.

This was still when EA was the king of animations. They had the 10 man mo cap thing going at this point which was revolutionary for the time. Live 05 actually plays a far more sim style game than 2k5 as well, IMO.

The game was great from a hoop head standpoint too, with all the throwbacks, shoes, accessories, etc.

Can't go wrong for a few bucks.

live 06 for me..

Live 06 is the most fun, but Live 2005 is the best overall

Live 2004 has the best Dynasty mode of all the NBA Live's and even imports draft classes from March Madness 2004....a lot of sliding though, and no dynasty Bobcats. But it also has dynamic attendance, cutscenes for trades and drafts and such, and even facial expressions.

OP if you get Live 06 use these playbooks for each team they will make the players react awesome on the floor.

I thought i had sliders on OS but i must have put them over at nbaliveforums.com back in the days.

but if you get Live 06 those plays will really help gameplay the sliders were also tied into the playbooks but i don't know where i posted them at that year.
