NBA JAM for PS3 and 360 will be released as standalone versions. Once more info is available about this we will be sure to let all of you know.

Waving the white towel huh EA...good move. Because I know they heard what Czar and the rest of the sim nation has said. EA wasn't ready. 2K is still light years away in simulation basketball. Plus they got Jordan! C'mon whats puckin' wit him?? lol

Probably a good move... 2K11 already stole most of this game's thunder (and the demo kind of cemented that), so they can improve it and sneak in later in the year as an alternative for those who already got burned out on 2K11. If they made it slightly cheaper too, that would probably help (a la NFL 2K5)... but eating 4 months of sales is probably as much as the series can handle in terms of losing money.

I was enjoying some aspects of it...but let's be brutally honest here, the game was a BETA (and an early one at that). Not even close to being worthy of charging people $60 to play.

It would have been insulting to release it in the same state as the demo IMO.
