Re: NBA Elite 11 Video: NYC Launch Party - Durant vs. James Gameplay

I'm hestiant to comment and make judgement because we don't kno what was missing in this build and what wasn't implemented. Like I'm sure rim movement wasn't in this build. And obviously being such an early build, things probably aren't gonna look too smooth. Sliding, Clipping...etc...

The problem I did have was when LeBron put up the left hook from outside the free throw line,. That can't happen lol.

Everything seemed to be moving really fast, maybe that was just me. And the way Durant landed on the last dunk looked awkward. I'm not gonna base anything off of this vid because it's way to early. And as far as the graphics go, it was the Wii version, what do you expect.

Im going add something positive.

The ability to stay in front of your man as a defender looks very promising, one sequence had Durant doing multiple moves and Lebron was just moving side to side keeping his man in front of him, not slipping and falling due to every crossover, which would have been the case in years past. I enjoyed that most from the clip and took that as a great sign for goind forward.

The hook shot was ambitious. lol

Right I understand where your coming from but....... look at all the perks. 1. it's not a finished product 2. it looks like wall and I believe dat was turner playing wit Wii!!!!! controllers 3. and last but not least yea its a new engine and it will have problems. but all you ppl commenting on this thread who is saying "ooo this game sucks" or "2K is still better" well I got something for you, Live or should I say Elite is making some good progress. For the past yrs I haven't purchased a EA basketball title maybe until Walmart had it for like $30 bucks. Because yea 2k had it on lock with Defense ond offense, but that game has it's flaws.....I MEAN IT REALLY DOES. Anytyme some1 can dunk from the 3pt line its a problem. But with all That said if you don't like the game dnt bash it and dont waste your time Buying it!

Suit yourself. Next-gen is further away than you think.
