Arena naming rights

What is up with the naming rights to the arenas. Half of the arenas are called blank arena and not the actual name. Older NBA games were able to use the real names of the arenas. How come all a sudden these games aren't allowed to use to arena names?

Re: Arena naming rights

Yeah that really sucks it kinda takes away a little bit from playing at Madison Square Garden or TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. MSG Looks just like MSG but they call it Knicks Arena. Also I dont know if anyone else has noticed that the American Airlines Center in Dallas looks more like the Toyota Center in Houston. Which I might also add is actually called Rockets Arena. I dont play any NHL games but I wonder if they call it Madison Square Garden on those games?

Re: Arena naming rights

They should just allow us to edit arena names.

That'd cover their butts, and allow us to have correct names.

They do, but I'm finding a lot of generic ones.

I don't see why they don't come up with similar names. Can they not call it "Knicks Garden" or "Boston Garden"
