Should I buy LIVE 18/19 at this moment? Sick of 2K overall...

I am so sick of fixing the 2K gameplay for 2K22 and overall quite burnt out with the whole 2K series, and am dying to play some basketball game.

I own a PS5, and wonder, if I should give LIVE 18 or 19 a try?

I am solely an off-line player, just playing against CPU, and really into dynasty/association mode whatever you call it, rebuilding a bad team and bring it back to a contender, but not looking to play 82 games, just 1/4 or 1/2 will do for me, I am just expecting CPU to build its rosters through trades and signings realistically, with some times there are injuries happened…

So should I buy a copy of LIVE 18 or 19? Thanks.

I personally love Live 18. Edit your rosters and sliders and it will give you great experience vs the CPU.

19 is good too but I like 18's gameplay better, plus I can't listen to 19's commentary.

I would sincerely love to play 19 but the time it will take to update rosters scares me.

You should be able to download the last patch (update) of each game.
Regarding roster editing, I meant you need to edit because it can improve the game a lot, not for the sake of updating it. Playing with EA's default rosters is never a good idea. You'd be surprised how different the game can play.
As far as franchise I'm not sure about trades. And anyway don't expect too much of this mode.

There was an update that added roster editing to Live 18. But you can't edit tendencies or sig animations, you can only edit ratings. But it still makes a huge difference.
Are you asking how to find the edit menu? Go to YouTube and look for this menu must be some videos showing it, and anyway it's pretty easy to find and you can save locally, I always play offline.

icic i m waiting for the game to ship to me now but very worried that the server is gone closed so that i can't download updates you know...

and what i m asking is i am not sure how to edit ratings myself, not that i don't know how to go into the setting, meaning like i am not good at deciding how much a players should have rating added or dropped...

btw do u create new players like rookies just to have the game play as if its made today? what i worry tho is that the team playbook is not updated...so players added to the teams they are in today don't really match?
