Online lag in North America

This year's online experience has been horrible so far, I am yet to finish at least one match, due to the constant disconnecting and error codes I am experiencing, despite having nearly 100 mbps internet speed.

Does anyone living in either Canada or the US have a similar issue? I live in Western Canada, so I am probably regionally locked to 2K's California servers, but there is virtually no one to play against most of the time, you have to be very lucky to find an opponent and when you do, it lags uncontrollably, destroying any remains of a positive online experience.

I have played 2K16 in Europe this Spring and Summer and the online experience/community was far ahead of the one in North America, or at least in Canada. This is all speaking PC-wise, of course.
