Yeah I've been seeing things like 54gb and 59gb..... so yeah.... huge.

Well if this is intented, I can only think of one reason and thats to stop people from pirating the game early.

That pirate reason is bs. To avoid early pirating, they just need to patch the game when it release to allow people to play the game.

Man that's what kind of messes me up with buying the PC version of this game: it always seems like the launch is this weird, uneasy thing. If communication was a bit better from 2k's end, I wouldn't have to feel anxious on if it's worthwhile or not to try to set aside a lot of time tomorrow morning to play some 2k before work. First world problem, I know...

I love 2k but am seriously ready to just pull the trigger and go console which sucks because I have no reason to buy a PS4/Xbox One, really.

Are you stupid? Do you even know how Preloads on Steam work? You never download just the full Game, ALL FILES ARE ENCRYPTED! Last Year it worked fine with a 2 Day Preload and Encrypted Preloads never got cracked, its not really possible in such a short amount of time to decrypt it.
