Re: Gaming Laptop For 2k ?

I game on a laptop because I also use it for other things (DJing) and I like the mobility. However, I understand how most feel that a desktop is more economical.

So to answer your question; yes, you can game on a laptop, but be willing to drop some $$$.

And to those that talk about screen size? HDMI cable.

I play nba 2k16 on my asus flipbook laptop. I hook it up to my 60 inch smart tv with a hdmi cable. With this I got to play with everything on low settings. If u want the full graphics get one built or a alianwear laptop

You can find a great range of gaming notebooks on xoticpc.com

I have an MSI GT70 2PE - With 8 gigs of DDR 5 ram - NVIDia 880m graphics, 32 gigs ddr 3, etc...

MSI, Asus, and ALienware are all good gaming computers...

You can choose amongst hundreds of different types of laptops on this site.

Re: Gaming Laptop For 2k ?

I'd rather recommend splitting your budget into two: a solid gaming desktop PC and a laptop if you want to have mobility for watching films or other stuff. You get more for your money than by buying just a gaming laptop...

Re: Gaming Laptop For 2k ?

If your leaning toward laptop simply due to being on a budget, give the steamboxes a look. I picked up my alienware alpha a while back for only $500. Thats well under half the price of a gaming desktop and its a powerful little SOB! Im running all of the recently release games on ultra settings flawlessly. Thr only game thats been choppy is the Witcher. Had to dial it back to medium-high settings, but if you are at all familiar with PC gaming you'll know The Witcher series is basically the benchmark in terms of graphics.
