CF textures are still 512x512 aren't they? I notice the side line/bench resolution looks just as sharp as on court.

They are now, in 2k13 they were 256x256...and the blur on the tats is removed and HD now.

Enjoying the hell out of this game. I didn't think 13 was bad, but there were a few hitches in the game-play that just turned me off. Out of all the 2K games I've played, that was the one I spent the least amount of time in. 14 feels a lot more polished.

I am still fumbling at the controls, I have a lot of turnovers because of that. Every time I start it up I have to go to practice mode and get a refresher course, especially post up moves.

One gripe I have is that during timeouts, in the coaching settings, sometimes I can't adjust the settings. Either I can't adjust them at all or I can only adjust them one way. That one way always seems to be when I am decreasing something, never increasing so I have to go into the settings from the pause menu to adjust. I don't know what that's about.

All in all I am having a blast. Going to wait for a few more mods, some rosters and sliders while honing my control skills before starting my first association in two years.
